James (Hoffy) P. Hofmeister, Senior Principal Engineer, has served as Principal Investigator for a number of Ridgetop’s programs with the DoD and NASA.  Hoffy has over 40 years of combined electronics, radio, radar and computer experience as a technician, electronics engineer and software programmer and engineer. Hoffy has worked over 30 years for IBM as an architect, planner, designer and senior development team and project leader. Hoffy earned his BSEE from the University of Hawaii and his MSEE from the University of Arizona and has written a number of patents.
